James Howard "Jimmy" Raba, age 67, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at his home in Selma.  He was born September 17, 1956 in Middlesex County, NJ to the late Robert John and Eileen Margaret Black Raba.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert John Raba, Jr. Jimmy was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church near Clayton and an active participant of the Edgerton Memorial Methodist Church Food Pantry.  Prior to moving to Selma, he worked in Quality Assurance over the MRI systems with General Dynamics, and he ended his career as a carpenter.

A memorial mass will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on August 9, 2024, in St. Ann Catholic Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Crennan Raba; sons, Stephen Raba and his wife Karen of Queen Creek, AZ and Kennith Raba and his wife Cayla of Spring Lake, NC; step-son, Sean Blackwood of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Stacey Siewert and husband Brandon of San Tan Valley, AZ and Danielle Raba of Selma, NC; sisters, Linda Malley of Venus, TX, Dianne Hoffman and husband Douglas of White City, OR and Beverly Crennan and husband Thomas of Whiting, NJ; sister-in-law, Susan Raba of Whiting, NJ; five grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
