Clayton - James Edwin Ennis, age 68, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his home. Born July 26, 1945 in Centerville, Mississippi to the late Robert T. and Norma Lee Gayton Ennis he was a member of Baptist Center Church near Clayton. A US Army veteran of Vietnam, he served as a surgical assistant.Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Baptist Center Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.Surviving are his wife, Viesta Banks Ennis, ; sons, Louis Banks and Lorenzo Banks; daughters, Valenthia Ennis and Ethel L. Banks; brothers, Robert Ennis, Talmadge Ennis and Reggie Ennis; sisters, Paulette Ennis, Tony Ennis and Lizette Ennis; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.The family will receive friends following the service.
