Kenly – Jackie Lee Massengill, age 63, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at his home. Born, June 2, 1961, in Johnston County, NC he was the son of Jerry and Huel Massengill. Jackie was an over the road truck driver for 40 years and visited all 50 states.

A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Selma Memorial Gardens. At other times, the family will receive friends at 204 Pace Street, Smithfield, NC.

Jackie is survived by his daughter, Tina Smith and husband Jeremy; grandchildren, Anna Thornton and Alan Thornton; brother, Wayne Massengill and wife Theresa; sister, Cathy Adams; nephews, Stephen Adams and Kyle Adams; and niece, Sydney Massengill.
