Smithfield- Hilda Kistler Huskey, age 94 passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020.  Born May 2, 1925 to the late Eddie C. Kistler and Ila O. Kistler in Rutherford County. She was preceded in death by her husband Max Huskey, sisters Mary K. Byrd and Alma Taylor, brother James Foster Kistler. During her life she worked as a homemaker caring for her family and household. Her favorite things to do were cooking and tending her flower garden.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 13, 2020 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield at 11:00 am with an internment to follow at Oakland Heights Cemetery. The family will receive visitors prior to the service starting at 10:00 am in the Wesley Hall.

Mrs. Hilda is survived by her son Eddie Huskey and wife Hilman Huskey of Smithfield.
