Geraldine Fornicola, age 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, North Carolina.

Born on February 23, 1936, in Long Branch, New Jersey, Geraldine was the daughter of the late Eugene and Mae Bouvier. Affectionately known as Geri, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Tina Laraway.

Geri is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Alfred Fornicola; her sons, Ken Fornicola and wife Susan, Steven Fornicola and wife Kathy, and Ray Fornicola and wife Susan; and her cherished grandchildren: Nichole, Nathan, Neal, Steven Jr., Daniel, Ethan, and Robert; great-grandchildren:  Ryan, Lillian, Allison, Zoe, Luna, Eli, and Ace.

A memorial service to celebrate Geri's life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Parrish Funeral Home.
