Florine Peterson Tucker East, age 92, died Friday, January 14, 2022 in her home in Smithfield,
NC.
Born in September of 1929 in Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late Junius Verney
Peterson and Alma Clyde Parnell Peterson of Smithfield.

Florine is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Donna Tucker Farnsworth; sisters,
Doris Peterson McLamb and Jackie Peterson Minshew; and brother Sherrill Peterson.
Surviving are her husband, Albert East; daughter, Brenda Tucker Bost and husband Pastor
Ted Bost, Jr.; sister, Rose Peterson Hill; brother, Verney Peterson, Jr. and wife Lois Peterson;
sister-in-law, Sherry Creech Peterson; grandsons Ted Bost, III and fiance Colleen Clark,
Robert Tucker Bost and wife Kathryn Kearney Bost, Bryan Farnsworth and wife Amy
Farnsworth; great-grandchildren Madison Farnsworth and Cameron Farnsworth and numerous
nieces and nephews.

Last Rites were conducted in Smithfield by her son-in-law, Pastor Ted Bost, Jr. A private
memorial service will be conducted in Hickory, NC at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.
