Douglas Brent Narron, age 66, passed away at his home on August 13th, 2024. He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude Narron and father, Rollon Narron, as well as his brother, Dennis Narron.

Doug, also known by his more familiar name "Pa", was an avid fisherman, animal lover, and hardworking man. He could often be found at his home riding his tractor, cutting grass, or sitting in his recliner. He loved his wife, children, and especially his grandchildren and taught them many things. From woodworking to tinkering around the house. He truly was a "jack of all trades". He worked a number of years with electrical companies and later as a press operator for companies in Selma. He is going to be greatly missed by his family, friends, horses, goats, and his cat, but his memory lives on in all of us.

He was a Christian, who loved the Lord and attended Live Oak Baptist Church in Selma. He is survived by his wife of nearly 45 years, Dianne Narron, brother, Danny Narron and wife Becky, son, Eric Narron and wife Lisa, daughter, Lorie Holland and husband Kevin, grandchildren; Raegan Narron, Kristin Holland, Logan Narron, Colby Holland, and Jackson Narron.

A graveside service will be in the Sullivan Family Cemetery on Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will follow in the cemetery.
