Benson – Dorothy Ray Weeks Holland, age 77, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024, in Liberty Commons Nursing & Rehab of Benson.  Born, December 4, 1946, in Wayne County, she was a daughter of the late Martin L. Weeks and Zelda Killingsworth Weeks. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the burial to follow in the Princeton Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m.

She is survived by her sons; Jeff Holland (Jill) of Selma, Kenny Holland (Crystal) of Selma, daughter, Michele Boucher (Paul) of Benson, brothers; Martin L. Weeks Jr. of Kinston, Dennis Weeks of Wilson, David Weeks of Goldsboro, Mike Weeks of MI, Tim Weeks of SC, sisters; Donna Moore of GA, Terry Crocker of Wilson, grandchildren; Crystal Froehbrodt, Brent Holland, Jessica Holland, Corey Holland, Megan Holland and Finn Boucher, great-grandchildren; Noah Froehbrodt, Carter Froehbrodt, Wyatt Holland, Hattie Holland and Olivia Holland.
