Ms. Doris Lee Parrish of Smithfield, NC passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation will be held at Underwood Funeral Home in Smithfield, NC, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a graveside service at Hills of Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield at 11:00am.

Ms. Parrish was born on May 3, 1936, in Johnston County to the late Ransom David and Sally Johnson Lee. Her greatest passion was the love she held for her family and her beloved dog, Cloe.

She retired from The Jerold Corporation in Smithfield after working as a sample seamstress for 30 years. Even after retirement, she continued to share her gift of sewing with others, always offering her talent with warmth and care.

Ms. Parrish is survived by her son, Randy Lee Parrish of Smithfield; grandchildren, Teri Parrish Spivey of Broadway, NC, and David Scott Parrish and wife Lauren Zsoldos Parrish of Clayton, NC; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Spivey and Aden Spivey of Broadway, NC, and Grace Anne Parker-Parrish of Four Oaks, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son James "Eddie" Parrish.
