Donnie Ray Hines was born July 4th 1954 in Wilson, North Carolina to Leon (Frank) and Alice (Gertrude) Hines. He left this earth and entered his heavenly home Thursday May 15th 2025. He is Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Gertrude Hines. His sister Marie Hines, and A nephew, Douglas Evans.

The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Monday May 19, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held in the chapel at 4:00 PM Monday.

He leaves behind his 3 children and their mother, Cindy Hines. Jason Hines, Josh & his wife Lori Hines, Brittany Hines-Hoover & her husband Michael Hoover. His amazing grandchildren, Collin, Parker, Kobey & Kasen Hines, Cameran Wenzel-Hoover, Jase, and Josi Hoover and a bonus grandson Jermaine Christopher, All of Cabot, Arkansas. His sisters, Nancy Holt & her husband Chris (Kenly), their daughter Dawn Hayes & husband Waylon (Whiteville). Esmond Elliot and her husband Hal, son Robby Evans (Benson) All of North Carolina. And countless extended family and friends that he considered family.

The family will receive visitors at other times at the home of Chris and Nancy holt at 6685 Hinnant Edgerton Rd.
