Donna Sue Moore Suggs, age 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Born on December 24, 1947, in Johnston County, North Carolina, Donna was the daughter of the late Paul and Agnes Moore. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jesse Moore; her sister, Patricia Flowers; and her sister-in-law, Louise Moore.

Donna had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved shih tzu, Tinkerbell. She enjoyed poetry — both reading and writing it — and found joy in oldies music and dancing. She loved watching TV, tending to her garden, and working in her yard. Christmas was an especially meaningful time for Donna, as it coincided with her birthday and reflected her warm and generous spirit.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Donna is survived by her brothers, Gene Moore and Mike Moore; her niece, Pam Flowers; her nephews, Phil Moore, Jon Moore and girlfriend, Jennifer McLeod, and Joseph Hallman; and relative, Barbara Moore Dantonio.

Donna will be remembered for her kind heart, her creativity, and the joy she brought to those who knew and loved her.
