Donald Ray Evans passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, at age 69, after a prolonged illness.  He was born on June 15, 1953. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Junius and Doris Evans, previously of Selma, and adopted son, Aaron Evans of Statesville; He is survived by his brother David Evans and wife Kathy of Roxboro; adopted daughter, Tiffany Evans McLeod; nephews Chris Evans of Roxboro, NC and Jamie Evans and wife Tina of Timberlake; and one niece Malana Evans.  Before his illness, he enjoyed time spent at home and "going fishing" with friends.  Condolences may be sent to Parrish Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
