Pikeville – Dianne Martin Johnson, age 68, passed away Saturday June 1, 2024 in Wayne County. She was born in Johnston County on September 28, 1955 to the late James Charles Martin and Dora Vick Core Martin. In addition to her father and mother, she is also preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Johnson; brothers, Terry and Jimmy Martin.

Per Dianne's wishes, no formal services will be held.

Dianne is survived by her son, Jamie Johnson of Pikeville; sisters, Billie Parker and husband Bernice of Pine Level, Gwen Dixon of Pine Level; grandchildren, Gracie and Cynthia Johnson.

She enjoyed going to the beach and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
