Dennis Ray Williams, age 66, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at his home in Washington. Born January 6, 1960, he was the son of the late James Arthur and Lillie Byrd Williams. In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Williams; and siblings, Billy Byrd, Shirley Peedin, David Williams, and Laura Williams.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 11:00am in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at the funeral home.

Dennis was a loving husband and father. He was a dedicated grandfather, known as "Poppie." Dennis is survived by his son, Dennis Ray Williams, Jr. (Jaclyn); stepchildren, Tonya Alligood Scott (William Leudesdorf, Jr.) Nickie A. Edge (Andy), John Worthy Alligood (Casey); siblings, Melvin Williams (Melva), Benny Williams, Doris Sellers (James "Buster"), and Betty Bridges (Ted); sister-in-laws, Sharon Cutler and Tine Woolard (Jim Sadler); grandchildren, Emmett, Lexie, Madison, Andrew (Brooke), Jacob, Anna, Reagan, Mason, Emma, Samuel, and Josie; and great-grandchildren, Ava and Ellie (arriving September 2026).
