Brogden – Dennis Richard Moore, age 77, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025, at his sister's home. He was born in Johnston County on August 19, 1947, to the late Thomas Jefferson Moore and Ruby Broughton Moore.

The family will receive visitors at Wilsons Mills Church of God on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the church at 2:00 PM on Wednesday. Burial will follow the service on Wednesday in Selma Memorial Gardens.

Dennis is survived by his sister, Angelene Davis of Brogden; niece, Laura Whaley of Snow Hill; nephews, Thomas Jackson of Sneads Ferry, Russell Jackson of Brogden; great nephew, Travis Spence of Snow Hill; companion, Rusty.

Dennis loved attending church at Wilsons Mills Church of God and travelling and watching baseball.
