Delois Mae
Peedin
January 10, 1942 – September 12, 2025
After beating multiple cancers, like a warrior, Lois joined her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, September 12, 2025, following a long period of declining health. She was the matriarch of the Peedin family and loved them very much. Lois was married to Paul Alvin Peedin, Sr., who she met and fell in love with at first sight. Lois always said Paul resembled Elvis Presley, and Paul said Lois was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He carried a photo of Lois in his wallet and would show it proudly to others. Lois and Paul operated the BP station in Micro for over 30 years, where they assisted people with their travels by being honest and friendly. She was a property manager with Wellons Management out of Dunn. She then started her own business, Creative Designs, and traveled for many years. Lois enjoyed playing bingo with her bingo family and friends, Elaine Littleton and Judy Alloway.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Teresa Peedin and son-in-law, Peter Peedin; granddaughter, Brandy Carlson; grandson, Daniel Peedin (JoAnna); four great-grandchildren, Jillian and Garrett Carlson and Cole and Trey Peedin; granddaughter, Elizabeth Lynn Edwards and great-grandchildren, Kylie Williams and Caroline Edwards. She had two stepchildren, Gloria Wagner (Bob) and Paul Alvin Peedin Jr. (Pam) and their children and grandchildren.
Lois was predeceased by her mother, Mae Bell Saulter Groves, her husband, Paul Alvin Peedin Sr., two sons, Tony Goodwin and Steve Lynn, and grandson-in-law, Carl James Carlson.
