Selma – Debra Chermaine Moody, age 63, passed away into eternity peacefully on Sunday December 15, 2024 at the SECU Hospice House. She was born in Sellers, SC on July 25, 1961 to the late James Preston Moody and Remeal Davis Moody.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Saturday December 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Randy Dixon officiating.

Debra is survived by her son, Edwin Moody; daughter, Lakeisha Moody; brothers, Preston Moody, and David Moody; sister, Janie Mae Moody; grandchildren, Aaron Banks IV, Makayla Banks, Saniyah Rhodes, Dashawn McDonald, Jayden Rhodes, Javantae Holder, Jabaris Smith (Moody), Javon Moody and Ashanti Moody; Godson, Anthony McNeil; Goddaughter, Pastor Misha Sykes; special friends, Jenny Humphrey, and Zack McCoy.

Debra will be remembered by many for her willingness to help others and her smile. She had the biggest heart ever and greeted most friends and family with "Hey Love". She was a member of Uphold the Word of Faith Church.
