David Milton Bamford, age 52, passed away Wednesday afternoon, November 15, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Born February 24, 1971 in Wake County he was the son of Florida Wingate Bamford of Garner and the late David Arthur "Dave" Bamford. David was a member of Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Brogden. David graduated with a MPA from NC State in 1994. He worked 23 years for the Town of Garner with his most recent position as the Assistant Planning Director. David loved fishing, playing guitar, reading, and being an active member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He loved spending time with his family at the beach or on vacation.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Tee's Chapel FWB Church with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the church, just prior to the service on Saturday.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Tracy Massey Bamford; daughter, Aubrey Bamford of the home; sister, Lisa Bamford of Raleigh; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Linwood and Judy Massey; brother-in-law, Brad Massey and wife Jennifer; nephew, Layton Massey; and niece, Allie Massey.
