Crystal Dawn Pope, 43, died comfortably Saturday, December 30th, 2023 at her home in Princeton, with her family by her side.

Born on February 9th, 1980 to Barbara Ann(Aycock) Pope, and the late David Earl Pope, she was a strong and brave little girl, who, despite childhood illness, showed her beautiful smile and contagious laugh always.

Dawn, as everyone called her, was known for her angelic singing voice, and never passed up an opportunity to participate in karaoke. She liked listening to music, dancing, and reading fantasy novels. She loved spending time with her Siamese cat, Lucy, and German Shepherd puppy, Lily. She kept her circle small- but the people within it meant the world to her, and she loved them very deeply.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Barbara, and stepfather, Tim; two brothers; Joshua and Dereck; one daughter, Summer; and a granddaughter, Emelia, whom she loved to spoil and play with. She is also survived by her grandmother, Joyce Pope, friend Karen Brown (Stone), and many other family members and close friends who she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her father, David Earl Pope, and her paternal aunt, Brenda Kay Pope.

Dawn will be remembered for her strength, bravery, and the impact she made on every life around her.
