Broadway, NC- Dwayne "Bugs"  Killette, 59 passed away at Womack Army Hospital after a tragic accident at his home. A native of Johnston Co., he was the son of the late Alvin and Betty Lou Killette. Dwayne was a career U.S. Air Force Veteran retiring after 22 years as a Master Sergeant. Dwayne served his country his entire life working after retirement as a Civil Service Directorate of Public Works..

There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM Tuesday July 19, 2022 at Stoney Creek Church Cemetery in Pikeville, NC, with full Military Honors.

Dwayne is survived by his wife of 12 years, Karen Killette; son, Rex Killette; daughters, Kristen Wright, Kayleigh McManus and husband Erinn and Kyrie Wright and partner Maxx Dempsey; brothers, Alvin "AL" Killette, Jr. and wife Joyce, Mark Killette and Van Killette; and six grandchildren, Patrick Wright, Deanna Sousa, Nataleigh McManus, Ava Killette, Alexis Killette and Addison Killette.
