Selma – Charles Everett Taylor, 82, was called away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was born on August 24, 1942, in Johnston County. He was the son of the late Elbert Lee and Pauline Batten Taylor.

Charles was blessed and lived a good life with his family and friends. He was a devoted husband and father. Charles loved fishing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was an active member in the Church of God of Prophecy where he taught Sunday School, Bible studies, and was superintendent in his younger days.

Charles's legacy lives on through his wife of 63 years, Audrey Aycock Taylor and their children, Tammy Oldham (and the late Scott Oldham) and Christopher Taylor and spouse Heather. He has four grandchildren, Nancy, Jayson, Matthew, and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Jason Taylor. He is also survived by his siblings, Alice Norris, Elbert Taylor, and Doris Davis.

Funeral services will be held at Parrish Funeral Home on Sunday, March 9, 2025, with the visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and service beginning at 2:00 p.m. A graveside will be held following the service at Selma Memorial Gardens.
