Charles Carl McLaughlin Sr., age 94, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at The Landings of Smithfield Assisted Living Facility. Born on July 12, 1929, in Genesee County, Michigan, he was a son to the late Arlon McLaughlin and Alice Crane Higgins.

Charles worked as a Real Estate tax appraiser for many years.

There will be no formal services.

Charles is survived by his wife, Margaret Julien McLaughlin; son, Charles McLaughlin Jr.; daughter, Alice McLaughlin Schafer and husband David; grandchildren, Sarah Holley and husband Joshua, Anna Traylor and husband Dustin, Theresa McLaughlin, Monique McLaughlin, and 9 great grandchildren.
