Catherine Peacock Marks, age 75, passed away January 20, 2025, at her home in Smithfield. Born September 24, 1949, in Snow Hill, Catherine was the daughter of the late Leland and Edith Peacock.

Catherine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and with her beloved dogs, BoBo and Maggie. In her free time, Catherine enjoyed reading and going out to restaurants with her husband.

Catherine is survived by her husband, Lawrence Marks; daughters, Glenda Wade (Les) and Sharon Taylor (Jeff); son, Larry Marks (Amy); brothers, Danny Peacock (Felisa) and Dudley Peacock; grandchildren, Kristen, Brittany, Andrew, Matthew, and Nick; and great-grandchildren, Landan, Noah, and Grayson.

A graveside service to honor Catherine's life will be held Friday, January 24, 2025, at Snow Hill Cemetery at 2:00PM. Flowers are appreciated.
