Carol Crumpler Twigg, age 80, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in Johnston UNC Health in Smithfield. Born December 31, 1943, in Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Gordon "Pete" and Annie Lawhorn Crumpler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy R. Twigg. Carol was a long time member of Tee's Chapel FWB Church in Brogden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 in Tee's Chapel FWB Church with Rev. Dennis Pollock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.

Surviving are her son, Jimmy "Rayford" Twigg, Jr. of the home; and her canine companion, Bayley.
