Carol Faye Heath Ennis, age 66, passed away on Thursday, June 30 ^, 2022 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born in Lenoir County on May 4, 1956, she was a daughter to Perry Heath and Clara Mavis Whaley.

Carol was an amazing cook and was known for her fried chicken and homemade biscuits. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles in her free time, and loved her family more than anything.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 11 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Ennis; brother, Allen Heath; and sisters, Donna Marshburn and Sue Edwards.

Carol is survived by her mother, Clara Mavis Marshburn; son, Jeffrey Ennis and wife Ashley of Four Oaks; daughter, Christina Harper of Selma; sister, Helen Heath of Kentucky; brothers, Ricky Heath of Smithfield; Kenny Marshburn of Lexington; Carl Wayne of Kinston; and grandchildren, Kristopher, Elyssya, Faith, Jacob, Kaitlyn, and Hannah.
