Carol Glenn Baker, age 75, of Micro, passed away at this home on May 7, 2020.  Born in Johnston County on August 8, 1944, he was the son of the late Jay Gold and Lizzie Cleo Allen Baker.  Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter Ellen Barbee Baker and his brother Danny Baker.  Mr. Baker formerly worked in the Public Works Department for the Town of Selma.  He attended River Oak Church of God in Selma.

A private family graveside will be held in Selma Memorial Gardens on Tuesday.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo Creech Baker; sons, Richard Barbee and wife Monica of Selma, Matt Barbee of Selma, Keith Barbee of Selma and Terry Barbee of Kenly; brothers Rudolph Baker of Smithfield, Maylon Baker of Knightdale and Rayvon Baker of Smithfield; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The public may pay their respects to Glenn at Parrish Funeral Home on Monday between 8 am and 5 pm.
