Carl Dwayne Williamson, age 61, of Zebulon, passed away on February 7, 2025, at Wake Med Hospital, following a long battle with sickness. Born November 27, 1963, he was the son of Carsie Williamson and Dorothy Williamson. In addition to his father, Carl is preceded in death by his infant sister.

The family will receive visitors at Branch Chapel Church on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 1:00pm-2:00pm. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 2:00pm with Pastor Eric Narron and Rickey Evans officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

Dwayne was the most loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. He loved his family more than anything. Dwayne loved working on his racecar and riding his four wheeler with his dog, Peanut. Dwayne was a member at Branch Chapel Church.

Dwayne attended SSS and graduated in 1982. He farmed with his dad and owned a sheet rock company, along with a remodeling company. Dwayne met no stranger. He had many friends he cared for deeply. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was truly a country boy, with a love for hunting, fishing, and car racing.

Dwayne is survived by his mother, Dorothy Williamson; daughter, Ashley Williamson; son, Kyle Williamson (Olivia); sister, Angela Williamson; grandchildren, Ivy Betts, Adaleigh Williamson, and Eleanor Kate Williamson; and dog, Peanut.

The family wishes to recognize and express a heartfelt thank you to Antioch Fire Department, Johnston County EMS, and the doctors and nurses at Wake Med.
