Princeton – Bonnie "Carlynne" Richardson Braswell, age 77, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her home. Born, December 6, 1947, in Wake County, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Arrie Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy W. Braswell, Jr.; daughter, Dixie Hocutt; brothers, Herman, Bob, Billy, Larry, and Charles; and sister, Jean Beasley. Bonnie loved her family and enjoyed doing anything she could with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed bingo, fishing, racing, and watching wrestling with the grandchildren. Bonnie was also a fan of Sci-Fi movies.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Parrish Funeral Home from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 in the chapel at Parrish Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Creech's Cemetery on Rains Crossroads Road.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Beth Lucas and husband Carsse, Becky Layhew and husband Josh; stepdaughter, Kim Nadeau and husband Ben; grandchildren, Buddy and Cadyn Lucas, Ethan Braswell, Hailey Layhew, Jacob Stroud, Matthew and Madison Nadeau; 3 great-granddaughters; and many adopted grandchildren.
