It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby Dale Fuller on November 13, 2024, at the age of 80, after a battle with dementia.

Bob was born on January 3, 1944, to Rev. Roy Fuller and Ruby Person Fuller in McGregor, McLennan Co, TX.  In 1959, when he was 15 years old, the family moved to Selma, NC. At church he met Mary. They were married in Selma on December 20, 1964. Bob had already been in the Navy for 2 years and moved Mary to Key West, FL where he was stationed on the Claude Jones as an Electricians Mate.

After the Navy, Bob worked for Grey and Creech Printing for many years before working as a printer/typesetter with The State of North Carolina at Central Prison in Raleigh and Nash Correctional Institution.

Bob and Mary went on to have two (2) daughters: Gina and Tracey.

Upon retirement, Bob pursued his hobbies of wood turning and playing as much golf as possible. He also loved having breakfast with his Romeo Club (Really Old Men Eating Out.)

He was preceded to heaven by his father, Rev Roy Fuller, his mother, Ruby Person Fuller, and his brother, Rev Roy Lawrence Fuller.

Bob is survived by his wife, Mary Brown Fuller, his daughters Gina Fuller Thompson (husband David Thompson), and Tracey Dale Fuller Peedin Jones (husband Jonathan Jones), granddaughters Lane Dale Thompson, Leah Catherine Thompson, and Reya Ashley Peedin, his sisters, Anna Hudson, and Patsy Jamerson. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Bob was a deeply beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was known for his dry wit and sense of humor.

Services will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clayton, NC on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. and visitation at 1:30 p.m.
