Betty Capps Moye, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, after a very brief illness, surrounded by her daughters. Born, November 11, 1948, she was a daughter of the late John Isaac and Mildred Capps. Betty worked at what is now Grifols, for many years and retired from there.

A private burial service will be held by the family.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Moye “Beth” Crawford and husband James of Morehead City and Rhonda Moye Holland and husband Mark of Lucama; grandchildren, Austin Holland and wife Caitlin, Van Crawford, Mia Hinton and husband Parrish, Max Holland, and Peyton Holland; great-granddaughter, Oaklin Holland; and many nieces and nephews.
