Barbara Jeanette West, age 56, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 18, 1970, in Johnston County and was the daughter of Barbara West and the late Tommy West.

Jeanette was known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She loved everyone she met and always tried to help those in need. She was a giving and compassionate person who brought warmth to those around her. She especially loved her dog, Milo, who was a faithful companion. Jeanette was also one of David Hasselhoff’s biggest fans.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara West; her best friend, Angela “Angie” Allen; and her faithful canine companion, Milo.
