Smithfield – Barbara Jean Palin, age 63, passed away Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. She was born in Wake County on February 16, 1958.

She is preceded in death by parents, Herman and Lucille Stallings Barrow; spouse, Windell Tolley;

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by sons, Kenneth Jones Jr. and wife Beth of Franklinton, Anthony Jones and wife Lisa of Whitakers; sisters, Dorothea Brock and husband Archie of Clayton, Aleta Villa and husband Juan of Smithfield; brother, James Barrow of Lillington; grandchildren, DJ Jones, Khristian Jones, Kameron Jones, Dylan Jones, Anthony Jones II, Dillon Hendrix; step grandchildren, Brook Glen, Kate Newton, Jonathan Newton; great grandchild, Ollie Glen; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Palin attended Pleasant Plain Free Will Baptist Church in Selma. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, scuba diving, bowling and going to farmers markets. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Parrish Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
