Ashley Edwards, 37 of Smithfield, NC, passed into eternity, Sunday, July 23, 2023 at Johnston Health Hospital with her loving family present.

Ashley was born October 26, 1985 in WIlson, NC. She is preceeded in death by her father, Kenneth Edwards and mother, Jackie Edwards.

Ashley is survived by her children Alaura age 11 and Lauryn age 6, along with their father and the love of Ashley's life, John Mendonca. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Crystal Edwards, her nephew, Christopher and other extended family.

Ashley's family will hold a visitation from 1pm to 1:45pm, Saturday, July 29, 2023 at River Oak Church of God in Selma, NC with a memorial service following at 2pm. Pastor Michelle Allen will be officiating.

Flowers are welcome or donations toward Ashley's final expenses are appreciated.
