Angela Denise Williams Dimsdale received her miracle of healing in the arms of her Lord and Savior on July 31, 2026. After a four year battle with ovarian cancer, Angie fully surrendered to the will of her Lord and was received into her heavenly Father’s arms. Angie was a woman of strong faith who believed the words of God in Isaiah 53:5 and 1 Peter 2:24 that by the stripes that Jesus took on his back we were healed and are healed. Standing on God’s promise of healing, Angie fought the good fight of faith, never wavering from her confession of being the healed of the Lord.

Angie graduated from Pembroke State University with a bachelor’s degree in business. After a successful career as a claims representative with Allstate Insurance, Angie made the decision to become a stay at home mom and raise her two children.

Along side and in support of her husband, she worked with Keith as they built the Chick-fil-A restaurant in Smithfield. Her support in the business was essential in the success and growth of the business.

Of all her life experiences, Angie was most happy when she was serving God in the local church. She was active in Princeton Church of God where she taught an adult Sunday school class for many years. Her deep understanding of God’s word and her love for people, was expressed in her ability to teach others and develop strong Christian relationships. All who met Angie Dimsdale have come away better people because of her influence and engagement.

Angie is survived by her husband of 43 years, Keith; her son, Brian, and his wife, Torre, along with their children, Hudson and Avery; and her daughter, Emily, and her husband, DJ, along with their daughter, Lo. Angie cherished her family and found immense joy in her three grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “G-Mama.”

Angie will be missed by her family and her friends, but we all rejoice in the hope that she has achieved in her transition from this life to the eternal life through Jesus Christ her Savior and Lord. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 11:30 AM at Princeton Church with the burial to follow in Selma Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:30 AM at the church.
