Andrew Earl Walters of Goldsboro left his earthly home and entered the gates of Heaven surrounded by love on Saturday February 24, 2024. What can you say about a man that touched the lives of so many in his 62 short years? Andy put his heart in everything he did and loved even more. If you needed a laugh look no further. If you needed a hug he gave the best. If you needed someone in your corner he was ready to fight.

The family will receive visitors in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday February 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will take place following the visitation. Burial will be held on Thursday February 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Tee's Chapel Church cemetery.

After playing the football field as a quarterback, he gave 35 years of service to Bussmann. He retired as a maintenance supervisor in 2016. If he wasn't at work you could find him fixing something or relaxing at the beach. Always ready to lend a helping hand, he was known as "Handy Andy" because if it was broken he knew exactly how to fix it. But Andy was the most proud of his marriage that will forever stand the test of time and is an incredible example of what true love looked like.

Andy is survived by his favorite person of the last 40 years, his wife, Glenda. His dad Royce Walters, brother and sister in law Dawn & Leland Walters. Niece Veronica Moser and husband Kenny and their daughter Aurora. Nephew Christian Walters and his girlfriend Hannah McCoy. Sister and brother in law Glenda and Larry Carter. Niece Tina and her husband Jay Cox and their children Christina and Dale. Nephew David Carter and his wife Briana and their daughter Faith. Brother and girlfriend Ray Boseman and Angie Herrera. Last but certainly not least his fur baby, Tilly.

Andy was preceded in death by his mom Anne Walters and nephew Jay Cox Jr.
