Ella Campbell Willoughby
April 15, 1923 - April 19, 2012Ella Campbell Willoughby, 89, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 19, 2012. Born in Johnston County on April 15, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Polly Mitchell Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Atlas Willoughby; sons, Charles Atlas Willoughby, Donald Willoughby and Bill Willoughby; and sisters, Ethel Parrish and Lela Cuddington. Mrs. Willoughby has been a member of Niagara Pentecostal Holiness Church since March 3, 1955.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Rev. Randy Anderson and Rev. Margaret Britt officiating. Burial will follow in the Fellowship Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 – 3 PM.
Surviving are daughters Rose Willoughby of Kenly, Margie Taylor of Kenly, Shirley Hargis and husband Walter of Smithfield; sons, Earl Willoughby and wife Becky, Roy Willoughby and wife Sharon, A. G. Willoughby and wife Betty Jo, all of Kenly; sister, Alma Bowens of Goldsboro; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; and her faithful canine companion Daisy Mae.
Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to Niagara Pentecostal Holiness Church or to Johnston Memorial Home Health and Hospice.
