Jimmy Stephen Wall
July 24, 1936 - April 06, 2012Jimmy Stephen Wall, 75, of Selma died on Friday, April 6, 2012. Born in Johnston County on July 24, 1936, he was the son of the late John Turner and Elvira Brown Wall.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Johnny Thelbert Wall, Lacy Lincoln Wall, James Elbert Wall, Joseph Edward Wall, Lillian Wall Overman, Louise Wall Wenck and Joyce Wall Allen. Jimmy was a retired mechanic having worked at the NC Farm Research Facility and Johnston Community College. He also worked at the North Carolina Children’s Home and farmed.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 6:00 PM in the Micro First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Stevens and Rev. Dearl Bunce officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the funeral service. Burial will be Monday at 11 AM in the John Mincy Brown Family Cemetery near the home.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years Billie Jean Killette Wall; daughters, Jandra Wall Worley and husband Freddy of Selma, Pamela “Pebbles” Wall McKenzie and husband Kerry of Bahama; grandchildren, Jamie Worley Gallegos, Meredith Eicher Thompson and husband Dustin, James Nicholas Worley, Stephen Eugene Worley, Kayleigh Rose McKenzie and Karson Elijah McKenzie; and a great grandchild Ashton Thomas Gallegos.
