Leo Godwin
October 18, 1945 - July 26, 2010Selma-James Leo Godwin, age 64 died Saturday July 24, 2010 at Johston Medical Center. Born in Durham County on October 18, 1945 he was the son of the late James Douglas and Mary Barbour Godwin.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Mt Zion Methodist Church with Rev. Earl Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 27, 2010 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma.
Mr. Godwin is survived by his wife of 44 years, Bonnie Adams Godwin: two daughters, Donna Godwin of Selma and Ann Coates and husband Jim of Benson: a brother, Randy Godwin of Smithfield: and a sister, Becky Carroll. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Parrish Funeral Home to help with expenses.
