March 08, 1926 - July 25, 2010Wilson’s Mills-Mary Ruth Eason Ryan, age 84 died Sunday July 25, 2010 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Born in Johnston County on March 8, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Henry and Kizzie Allen Eason. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Ryan and a son, Eddie Ryan
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 28, 2010 at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with Rev. Lea Slaton officiating. Burial will follow in Wilson’s Mills Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Mrs. Ryan is survived by two sons, Clifton Ryan and wife Pam of Wilson’s Mills, and Glen Ryan and wife Brenda of Selma; three brothers, Johnnie Eason of Wilson’s Mills, Percy Eason of Jefferson, and Cleo Eason of Wilson’s Mills: seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
