William Henry Meacham Austin
February 12, 1929 - July 25, 2010William Henry Meacham Austin, 81, of Smithfield died July 25, 2010 at his home. He was born February 12, 1929 to the late Hugh M. Austin and Willie Mae Meacham Austin. He loved and was loved by his family and will surely be missed.
He was predeceased by his wife Shirley Penny Austin and brother Hugh M. Austin Jr. and is survived by son, Craig A. Adams and wife Nancy of Raleigh, daughter Kimberly Adams Perez and husband Octavio of Cancun Mexico; grandchildren Harris, Abby, William and Edward Adams, and AnnahLarissa and Lauren Perez; sister Jane Austin Cunningham of Smithfield and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 140 East Market Street, Smithfield, North Carolina where he was a life time member. Private family internment to follow.
The family will receive friends in Wesley Hall of Centenary United Methodist Church at 1:00 P.M. prior to the funeral service or at the home of Edward P. and Jane Austin Cunningham at 720 South First Street, Smithfield, North Carolina.
