Jesse Calvin Jernigan
August 19, 1940 - July 21, 2010Kenly---Jesse Calvin Jernigan, 69, of Princeton-Kenly Road died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at his home. Born on August 19, 1940, he was the son of the late Jesse and Myrtle Irene Jernigan Brown.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 24, 2010 at Banner’s Chapel Church Cemetery near Benson, with Reverend Joe Ballance officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
Surviving are: daughter, Debra Jernigan of Asheboro; brothers, Ray Von Jernigan of Smithfield, Jimmie Jernigan of Clayton, Eddie Jernigan of Philippines, Danny Brown of Pennsylvania; sisters, Willa Dean Nichols of Smithfield, Linda Toole of Kenly, Wanda Dale Johnson of Four Oaks; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren. Mr. Jernigan was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jernigan; children, Jesse J. Jernigan, Jeffrey W. Jernigan; brothers Joseph Carol Jernigan, Glen Jernigan, and John Jernigan.
