Johnny Wayne Norris
February 26, 2010Johnny Wayne Norris, age 54, of Smithfield died on Friday, February 26, 2010. Born in Johnston County on March 20, 1955, he was the son of the late Ronnie Lee and Lillie Pilkington Norris.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with burial following in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens.
Surviving are: his wife, Charlotte Blackmon Norris; daughter, Angie Heath and husband T. J. of Selma; granddaughters, Jessica and Kristen Heath; brothers, James Norris of Virginia, Larry Norris of Greensboro, David Norris of Selma, Jerry Norris of Pine Level, Bill Norris of Wilson's Mills, and Alan Norris of Smithfield; sisters, Louise Minshew of Smithfield, Jean Gravelle and Helen Beaudet, both of Texas, Virginia Braswell of Selma, Judy Farnall of Kenly, Sandra Norris and Alice Turner, both of Selma; and a brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Portia Blackmon of South Carolina.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6 to 8 PM.
